Lecture

Moderated by Associate Curator Kelli Bodle, photographer and activist Reginald Cunningham and FAU Professor Dr. Candace Cunningham discuss the development of the exhibition, Black Pearls. Learn how the artist uses his talents to capture the complexity and nuance of our local neighborhood, Pearl City. Professor Cunningham shares her passion for community collaborations and shares of her role in collecting oral histories from past and present residents of Pearl City. Delve into the formation of this exhibition with the creatives who made it happen.

Tickets include admission to the Museum Block Party: Black Pearls exhibition opening which follows the lecture.
