Preserving the Pearl City Communities: A Virtual Town Hall Event

Updated: Jan 22, 2021

January 18, 2021—7:00 PM

A movement to preserve and enhance the oldest neighborhood in Boca Raton kicks off on Monday evening, January 18, 2021, at 7:00 pm, when DISC presents a special video town hall event, “Sharing the Stories of Pearl City.” A compelling documentary video, highlighting the lives of longtime Pearl City residents, will be featured at the event, as well as the launch of an important historic district survey project. The historic district survey will be conducted in Pearl City and Lincoln Court in an effort to have the communities designated by the State of Florida as a National Historic District.

Volunteers are needed to conduct the historic district survey; to volunteer or for more information, call (561) 609-2542. For more details about the historic district survey, CLICK HERE.
