This year's MLK Jr Day in Boca Raton was a major success. DISC of Pearl City Boca Raton was part of the planning and delivery of a whole day of events to commemorate the life and contributions of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
These words from Boca Raton Recreation sum up the event best:
"Thanks to everyone who came to honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on last Monday. Our thanks to DISC of Pearl City, our community partners, speakers, elected officials and City staff who helped make this special event happen. It was a beautiful day with our community coming together!"
