In addition to the monthly membership meetings, DISC hosts a monthly dialogue meeting that is free and open to all. These meetings have been offered for the last ten years to give residents of Boca Raton’s historically black neighborhoods (Pearl City, Lincoln Court, Dixie Manor) the opportunity to participate in an open forum about current issues in the community. The dialogue always includes representatives from the Boca Raton Police Department, giving residents a clear and continuous communication channel with law enforcement personnel. Dialogue meetings typically take place on the third Thursday of each month, excluding July and August. For information on the time, date and location of the next dialogue meeting, contact us HERE.
